Children or other family members may attend all meetings with the client's consent. We are accustomed to working with several people at once.

Where we do not think a matter is likely to proceed well, we will say so at the outset. The decision to proceed rests entirely with you.

Bring any letters or statements you have received from your pension scheme or the relevant authority, along with any employment records you have kept. We will explain what is missing and how to obtain it. Do not worry if your papers are incomplete — that is very common and we can work around it.
A full entitlement review with representation usually takes between four and nine months. The range is wide because it depends on how quickly former employers and scheme administrators respond to our requests. We send you a written update at each stage so you are never left wondering where things stand.
Yes. Family members are welcome at all meetings, provided the client gives their consent. Many of our clients find it helpful to have an adult child present to take notes or ask follow-up questions. We are accustomed to explaining matters to several people at once and will make sure everyone in the room understands what is being discussed.
We will tell you honestly at the outset if we think the prospects are limited. That assessment is part of what you are paying for. We explain the likely range of outcomes — including less favourable ones — so that the decision to proceed or to stop belongs to you, made with full information rather than false hope.
For the Full Entitlement Review and Representation service, we attend hearings on your behalf so you need not appear if you would rather not. We keep you informed of what was discussed and what the next step will be.
Often, yes. The RM 150 consultation session is specifically designed for people who want to understand where they stand before deciding anything further. At the end of the session, we set out the options available to you — and there is no expectation that you will take any further steps with us unless you choose to.
